"Confusion": A Sam Zell music video to be presented in a moving music box.

This animation was created by Bix Pix Productions for a Sam Zell commission. The music video played in a gorgeous music box created for Sam Zell's top clients. The boxes were handed out at Sam's Birthday party in 2009. I helped with creating the cut-out puppets (see earlier posts with layout and creation of the puppets), as well as background plates, and green-screen animation (stop motion).

Robyn's Reel

Tom Brierton's "The Labyrinth"

I am excited to announce that I will helping Tom Brierton on his epic stop motion animation feature film "The Labyrinth". I am in the process of testing and painting the silicone puppets. I will be working from the famed special FX stdudio "Nextage FX", headed up by special effects guru Anthony Grow. Famed sculptor, Jim Davidson, sculpted the gorgeous minotaur puppet, which I cannot wait to get my painting hands on to! I will keep you posted on this adventurous ride...

Jack Daniels Commercial

Here are a few pictures of a bee, which I recently painted and flocked for a new Jack Daniels commercial, for their honey flavoured whiskey. This is a teaser of the bee, which was created digitally, but the bee had to look exactly like this. It turned out beautifully. I will post the commercial once it goes live.

Hannis Brown is in the Attic

I am excited to share with you my dear friend, and extremely talented composer, Hannis Brown's, second album: "Severe Insomnia". It is released by the great left-of-center UK/Polish label Lumberton Trading Company. You can purchase a limited copy, with 25 available as a special, hand-painted, glass-packaged edition, directly through Lumberton's site and scrolling halfway down ( http://www.fourth-dimension.net/lumberton-trading-company/lumberton-trading-company/ ). Or, you may visit his site, and purchase the "regular" edition, via the discography page of his website: http://hannisbrown.com/discography.html

Hannis scored the music for my Student Academy Award winning film, "Alice's Attic". He did an amazing job in making the film a huge success. You can watch the animation, and listen to Hannis instrumental genius, by following this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpurE_9UUvY
